CAIR responds: Islamophobia!

Via Tulsa World:
State Rep. John Bennett, R-Sallisaw, said Thursday he doubts the sincerity of a state Muslim organization’s statement concerning Wednesday’s attack on a Paris newspaper office.
Bennett, an outspoken critic of Islam, said the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ condemnation of the attacks by three men identified as radicalized Muslims is counter to the teachings of the Quran.
“Almost immediately after the news broke of the Paris attacks, (CAIR-OK Executive Director) Adam Soltani sent a press release claiming the terrorists ‘are not Muslim’ and that they ‘were the antithesis of everything that Islam teaches and represents,’ ” Bennett said Thursday in a news release issued through the House of Representatives media office.
“In fact, the Quran, Islam and Mohammed’s hadiths justifies, teaches and makes it obligatory to commit violence against non-Muslims.”
Citing several passages, Bennett said CAIR and Soltani should also condemn those portions of the Quran.
