This week, O’Reilly Factor correspondent Jesse Watters set off for Union Square in New York City, to find out how much the folks knew about one of America’s greatest leaders, President Abraham Lincoln. Watters trip coincided with a Factor special on host Bill O’Reilly’s best-selling book, Killing Lincoln, co-written by Martin Dugard.

“Abraham Lincoln, why is he so important?” Watters asked a number of park visitors.

“Civil rights,” one man said.
“I love him,” said a woman.

Watters then asked the folks to name the time period during which Lincoln was president.
A few respondents correctly answered ‘the 1860s’, though answers were spread throughout the 19th Century.
Lincoln served as Commander-in-Chief from 1861 until his death on April 15, 1865.
