Today 12/31/2014 the “paper of record” took the bizarre step of calling the New York City Police Dept “snarling with victimhood” over the deaths of two colleagues shot in cold blood in Brooklyn.
The paper went on to elude that it finds the union slowdown and simultaneous “disrespect” of New York City Mayor Warren Wilhelm (aka “Bill de Blasio”) to be churlish and unnecessary.
This view however is at odds with the paper’s previous viewpoints on all sorts of New York City union lead worker slowdowns.
In fact, on two occasions the paper of record even went so far as to dismiss that these slowdowns were even happening.
See for yourself:
2014: NYPD Slowdown snarling with victimhood
1991: Sanitation Workers Slowdown not really happening – it’s just your imagination
1983: Transit workers slowdown not happening say employees and us
