MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man has been questioned after posting threats against the New York Police Department on social media.

The threat appeared on an Instagram account with the name ‘woodgramflexinn’ just hours after two NYPD officers were executed in their car.

Daryl Lofton confirmed to WREG he was questioned Sunday by the Memphis Police Department and the Office of Homeland Security.

The post read, ‘Good job. Kill em all I’m on the way to NY now #shootthepolice 2 more going down tomorrow.”

The NYPD took the threat serious enough to issue a warning to police officers.

John Cardillo, a contributor to The Blaze, reports the Lofton was questioned and the threat deemed not serious.

Lofton reportedly told police the threat was false and made while he had been drinking and smoking pot.

Numerous threats have been made against police since the shooting took place Saturday.

The Instagram account has been disabled.
