FT Jackson wreaths

The event occurred at all National Cemeteries and relies on volunteers to assist.

On Saturday more than 3,000 graves at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery had wreaths laid on them in time for the holiday season.

Wreaths had started being collected back in July and they reached their goal!

Service members from every branch of the military were at the ceremony along with thousands from the community.

Head of the Fort Jackson National Cemetery Wreaths Across America, Carol Davis says there was not a grave that didn’t have a wreath.

They also will have enough wreaths to place for those that will buried until the first of the year.
