Waaah.

(The Hill) — Cindy McCain says she’s had enough of Glenn Beck’s “vitriol and hate.”

Her comments, via Twitter Wednesday, came after the conservative Fox News host criticized a public-service announcement on the dangers of skin cancer in which her daughter, Meghan McCain, appeared.

“I’m so glad Glenn Beck is leaving Fox. Enough vitriol and hate. Glenn you are no rodeo clown. They are decent and nice. You aren’t,” McCain, the wife of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), said.

The ad shows McCain from just above the chest up; she appears not to be wearing clothing. In it, she says you might as well be “naked” if you leave the house without wearing sunscreen. (She said later she had been wearing a strapless dress.) In response, Beck said McCain should put some clothes on — and then pretended to vomit.

Meghan McCain struck back as well. Also over Twitter, Meghan McCain called Beck “pathetic” and suggested she would have more to say in her column for The Daily Beast website on Thursday.
