Liberal pinheads explode. There’s already a petition underway to the school’s board to stop this. Remember, they can’t bring the guns into the school, so the petition is just not to even have guns in a picture in a yearbook. Chances of petition working? Zip.
The 2nd Amendment protects all Americans’ right to own firearms for protection and hunting. This right helps keep us free and safe, which is why it’s worth celebrating.
To the outrage of liberal anti-gun groups, the 50 students who are graduating from Broken Bow High School in rural Nebraska can “tastefully” pose with their guns in senior yearbook portraits. The school board unanimously approved this idea recently:
“The board I believe felt they wanted to give students who are involved in those kinds of things the opportunity to take a senior picture with their hobby, with their sport, just like anybody with any other hobby or sport,” Superintendent Mark Sievering told the Omaha World-Herald.
Parents asked for the change, according to the superintendent, and the board’s 6-0 vote in favor sealed the deal. The rural community of some 3,500 people in central Nebraska, about 65 miles north of Kearney, will maintain its policy of no guns on school grounds.
