Dead polar bears or something.
Via NY Daily News:
A storm stronger than Sandy slamming Alaskan islands this weekend will bring an unwelcome early start to winter in New York, forecasters warn.
The storm, which began as a tropical typhoon named Nuri on the Japanese coast, was mixing with cold air and the jet stream Friday as it arrived on Alaska’s Aleutian Islands.
By next Thursday the fallout should send temperatures in New York plummeting 15 degrees lower than normal.
“The force of the storm is comparable to any great hurricane,” said Bob Oravec, of the National Weather Service.
