The “Justice for Mike Brown” Facebook page, created in honor of the 18-year-old who was fatally shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri this August, appeared to make an alarming admission on Friday.
According to the page, a group of “peaceful” protesters who recently met at a church in St. Louis chased a white college student down the street and viciously assaulted him before he was able to reach a Walgreens and call the police.
“For some of yall to just attack him having him running down Chambers St … scared for his life and he steady screaming crying and flagging down cars asking for help, but he only gets help when he runs inside the Walgreens, that was wrong and F××ked up,” a message on the group’s page said. […]
“He probably didn’t hear or understand and when everybody just rushed him and told to stop live streaming and get the F××k out and then all of sudden he gets jumped and attacked,” the message read. “He is a student at UMSL college and he has been out there with us protesting on regular nights. … NO, he’s not working with the police, he is on our side.”
