(RIA Novosti) – Islamic State (IS) fighters have beheaded a man for allegedly working for Syrian President Bashar Assad and announced that all who insult Allah are to be executed, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Friday.

“Der-Ezzor province: ISIS executed a man from al-Mayadin city in al-Jerdaq yard, on the charge of working for Bashar al-Assad as a cop, and judged him with ‘al-Radda’,” the London-based observatory said on its official Facebook page.

“ISIS fighters have announced today that everyone [who] insults Allah will be executed and beheaded,” SOHR said.
