President Obama stumped in Detroit yesterday for Senate Democratic candidate Gary Peters — the only Senate nominee willing to appear with the beleaguered president.
The commander-in-chief headlined the Wayne State University rally for Peters, who is leading the polls, and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer, who is slightly behind.
Obama spent the final days before Tuesday’s midterm election backing nominees for governor across the Northeast and Midwest.
