It’s Friday. It’s Halloween. It also happens to be four days before the midterm elections, but that didn’t stop the White House Press Corps from reportedly agreeing to give Press Secretary Josh Earnest a day off from the usual road press gaggle in exchange for a delicious-looking “Death by Chocolate” cake from President Barack Obama.
Later, CBS White House correspondent Mark Knoller revealed that Obama traded the cake to the media on Air Force One in exchange for them forgoing the scheduled press gaggle with Earnest.
