Is it me or do Hollywood types like Christian Bale, best known for his role in Batman and American Psycho, not like Christianity or Judaism?
Can you imagine for a moment if any of the figures of Islam were called names by an actor in a movie about their religion? Heads would roll – literally. Isn’t this what the left calls hate speech? It’s selective free speech by an industry bent on bad movies.
If you have a wallet, fanny pack, purse, man purse, don’t use it to purchase tickets to watch this. If you want to learn about Moses, open a Bible or ask a priest or ask a pastor.
“I think the man was likely schizophrenic and was one of the most barbaric individuals that I ever read about in my life,” Bale said about Moses in front of a group of international reporters last month at the Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles.
…Film critic Peter Chattaway at Christian site Patheos.com, for example, seems troubled because Bale “speculates about what was going on inside Moses’ head.” He’s also bothered because director Ridley Scott told Entertainment Weekly that it’s not Moses or God who will part the Red Sea, but that it will be caused by an earthquake.
