Three international students were arrested over the weekend after Oklahoma City Police say they raped a man.

26-year-old Naif Albaqami, 25-year-old Mamoon Alghuwainem, and 23-year-old Fahad Alghuainem were all placed under arrest when a man told police he had been raped at an apartment complex on the city’s northeast side.

According to authorities, the victim met Naif at a bar a couple weeks ago. They agreed to meet up at Alghuwainem’s apartment at the Capitol on 28th complex on Saturday and head to a bar. Police say they stayed till closing and then went back to Alghuwainem’s apartment.

The victim told police he headed to the bathroom. When he came out, he said Fahad was blocking the hallway and started “rubbing up” on him. The victim told police they went into the bedroom and “it got too rough.” According to police, the victim said he told Fahad to stop repeatedly.

According to authorities, the victim tried to dress quickly after Fahad had finished, but that’s when Mamoon came in and started to have sex with him. The victim said he told Mamoon to stop, but he wouldn’t.

After Mamoon finished, the victim told officers he tried to get dressed again, but Naif came in and started to have sex with him. He told police he yelled out Naif’s name, hoping it would “make it personal,” but he wouldn’t stop.

Police say the victim had minor injuries. He consented to a rape kit and was taken to the hospital.

Police arrested all three suspects on first degree rape charges.
