ARLINGTON (WJLA) — An Ebola scare closed an entrance to the Pentagon and restricted access to the facility’s South Parking lot on Friday, officials said.

The actions were triggered shortly after 9 a.m. when police found a woman on a tour bus in the parking lot who was ill and vomiting; she told officers she had recently visited West Africa.

The Arlington County Fire Department’s emergency medical and hazardous materials teams responded and took command of the scene, cordoning off the area around the bus.

The woman was taken to Fairfax Inova Hospital, where a quarantine tent was set up in front of the building. There was no immediate word on the woman’s condition.

Pentagon police said the Corridor 2 entrance was closed and the South Parking lot’s lanes 7-23 were restricted until further notice as a precautionary move.
