Russell Brand is enjoying his freedom in America to say and do as he pleases, as long as it is legal. But when he tried to muscle his way onto Fox News property in New York uninvited, he was asked to leave or face arrest.

Brand was on-site filming his show Trews (true news) because, supposedly, Brand was canceled as a guest on Hannity. So in a sort of protest, Brand came by anyway to accuse Fox News hosts for spreading Islamophobia, specifically targeting Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity. He had a bunch of statistics prepared that he swore proved that Islam is a religion of peace and shared those through his own “brand” of news.

After he was asked to stop filming on the private property, Brand went into the lobby to try to get upstairs to talk with Hannity. He was threatened with arrest if he didn’t leave. Brand complied and left peacefully, but not without a few words. “Whether the subject is Islamophobia or it’s just the freedom to be in a lobby, Fox is a difficult organization to work with,” Brand told his camera.
