I’m sensing a patented Jesse Jackson racial shakedown coming the hospital’s way.
FARROW: Why do you think your uncle was turned away from the hospital initially?
NEPHEW: I mean, again, he didn’t have insurance. And he’s a poor black man. he had a very deep accent coming from west Africa And I believe they didn’t believe he deserved the care that, you know, everybody else should get, you don’t treat people like that.
FARROW: You just heard the family say they think there was a discrimination piece to this. do you think this is about discrimination against immigrants, poor people?
JACKSON: It’s a fact there’s an anti-immigrant, anti-refugee, anti-black, is very real in our country.
