A new report shows that the Department of Veterans Affairs is severely understaffed in the number of ethics officials they have in relation to their total workforce, even having the worst ratio of ethics officers per employees of any government agency by a long shot.
As many know, the department came under intense fire for having secret waiting lists dealing with veterans care and the numerous deaths that occurred as a result, making this information even more troubling.
