MOORE, Oklahoma — Items found in the suspects vehicle and statements from witnesses at the scene of the beheading in Moore, Oklahoma led Moore Police Department investigators to call in the FBI immediately. On Friday one woman’s head was severed and another woman was brutally stabbed at their workplace, Vaughan Foods based in Moore.
Citing the ongoing investigation, Moore Police Department Public Information Officer Jeremy Lewis said he could not specify which items in the vehicle, or which statements made by witnesses, led to calling the FBI.
Lewis told Breitbart Texas that the federal government will likely take over the case. If the feds deem the attack to have been a “terrorist event” or a “hate crime,” the investigation will be taken over by the FBI.
The vehicle was ultimately seized by the federal agency, which had a strong presence at the scene by the time Lewis had arrived.
FBI agents have already interviewed the suspect, who is currently in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds. Although Lewis could not disclose any details of the interview, he said that its results, when released, will make many aspects of the case very clear.
