Via Daily Mail:

Eric Frein, one of the FBI’s most wanted and the man authorities say killed a Pennsylvania state trooper last week, may soon be apprehended.
Today, authorities in Pennsylvania believe Frein is hiding in the forests near his hometown of Canadensis and the state police barracks in Blooming Grove where authorities say he killed Cpl. Byron Dickson and wounded Trooper Alex Douglass.

An official told CNN police are presently outside Frein’s alleged hideout and there has been gunfire.

CNN reported the person got inside the home through forced entry.

The home is reportedly in Barret Township, according to WBRETV reporter Andy Mehalshick.
Police have said Frein nurses an unspecified grudge against law enforcement and government. Authorities say they consider it unlikely he will target the public.

The FBI most wanted release notes:

‘Frein is known to be a heavy smoker, a weapons enthusiast, and a survivalist. He claims to have fought with Serbians in Africa, and he has studied Russian and Serbian languages. He may have shaved his head on both sides and have long hair on top.’

Police have phrased it as he might be living out his ‘Cold War’ reenactment.

In checking out his MySpace account we noted that he referenced Che Guevara and the 13th Guards, a Soviet rifle division. He has a picture standing in front of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade as his profile pic as well as a connection to the Radovan Karadzic, the “Butcher of Bosnia”.

He also belonged to a group called Istocni Vuk, or “Eastern Wolves”, who played Serbian military reenactors. Multiple pictures can be seen here. He appears to be the person in charge of that account, as the account holder references a picture of Frein, and says “Out of breath, I have a smoke”.
