Jihadi fanboys rejoice!
Via Raymond Ibrahim:
Among other things, the purpose of the game is to “raise the morale of the mujahedin and to train children and youth how to battle the West and to strike terror into the hearts of those who oppose the Islamic State”—a reference to the Koran (e.g., 3:151). […]
The characters in the game highlight aspects central to the Islamic State, such as jihad and “the willingness to sacrifice,” presumably a reference to “martyrdom” tactics.
During moments of victory, the characters shout out Islamic slogans such as “Allahu Akbar!” and behead and slaughter their victims—true to the Islamic State’s modus operandi.
