Matt fixed a few of the kinks on the mobile site. If you click on a headline you can now see the entire post, also, the logo following the user as they scroll down has also been stopped. Working now on shrinking the logo as well.
As I mentioned yesterday, we had no choice but to switch to a mobile site because spammers were able to exploit the flaws in using desktop ads on iPhone/iPad browsers leading to some readers being constantly force redirected to Apple’s app store or Google Play. Only other option was to take down all the ads but all that would do is force the site out of business.
Couple of important notes:
Mobile device users (tablet/phone):
If you’re still seeing a version without the changes all you need to do is reboot your device.
Firefox users (desktop, laptop):
If you’re seeing the mobile version on your computer you just need to clear your cache.
Click here to see how it’s done for a Mac.
It seems to be just Firefox but any browser seeing the mobile site can be fixed by clearing your cache.
