For awhile now, the White House has insisted that President Barack Obama would issue a series of executive actions on immigration by the end of the summer.
Not anymore.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest declined on Friday to comment on when Obama might act.
“I don’t have an update in terms of timing,” Earnest told reporters at his daily briefing.
Questions were raised because Thursday Obama said again he would act, but dropped any reference to the timing.
