The chaos on the streets of Ferguson, Missouri was palpable on CNN Monday night as police attempted to clear the streets just before 10 p.m. CT, despite the lack of official curfew in place. Reporter Ed Lavandera was in the middle of the protesting crowd when he broadcast was briefly hijacked by a shirtless man who had a message for viewers.
“We ain’t worried about the motherfucking National Guard! Fuck them!” the man shouted at the camera. After a few seconds, the reporter was able to resume what he was trying to say about the heavy police presence in the street.
