As PM Maliki delivered angry speech because he wasn't nominated as the next PM, security forces reportedly fanned out across Baghdad. #Iraq

Maliki was roundly blamed by some for oppression against, and the unhappiness among, minorities in Iraq. So there was a movement afoot to push him out, with which he was not happy.
Maliki apparently criticized the President, and troops allegedly loyal to Maliki are reported to be circling the presidential palace.
