The U.S. Ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation (OSCE) in Europe tweeted on Saturday that he married his partner Brian Walsh and thanked President Barack Obama and Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.

Daniel Baer tweeted: “So, I got married this morning. Thank you @BarackObama, @HillaryClinton & @JohnKerry for your commitment to equality.”

The tweet included a photo of the wedding ceremony, which was also posted in a story about the event on the Huffington Post’s Gay Voices website and linked to the original reporting by the pro-homosexual website “On Top.”
