Michelle Obama may not be having a blood feud with Hillary Clinton, but that doesn’t mean she’s crazy about another Clinton in the White House.
The first lady reportedly told people who attended a Manhattan fundraiser earlier in the month that she isn’t at war with either Hillary Clinton or her husband, the former president; however, people who were present say she took a swipe at Hillary Clinton’s presidential aspirations.
Obama’s comments came during a question-and-answer session at a fundraiser at the home of financier Charles Myers, according to people who were present.
When she was asked if she had any aspirations to run for office, Obama said “no” because her children need some time being out of the spotlight. Without mentioning Hillary Clinton’s name, she then added: “I don’t believe one family should be in the White House or running for office constantly,” according to the recollection of one person at the event.
The attendee tells FOX Business that he took the remarks as a snub against Clinton, though the questions soon shifted away from presidential politics to other matters including her husband’s presidential library, joking at one point that she’s going to donate “all my dresses there.”
