For those who don’t know – Apple’s new CEO is rumored to be a homosexual and for the first time allowed Apple employees to represent the company at San Francisco’s pride parade. Employees handed out free iTunes gift cards and carried an Apple banner in the parade.

While founder Steve Jobs might have been a fan of gay rights, marriage and their legal ability to adopt children; Jobs was pretty adamant that Apple was a company that wouldn’t involve itself or “be loud” on social or political issues.  For Jobs, Apple didn’t want to alienate people – even people he disagreed with.
