To be fair, she’s also giving the credit to guys who shave everything from the neck down. Just wondering how she proposes to check that they have done the assignment fully.

Arizona State University’s associate professor of women and gender studies Breanne Fahs offers female students extra credit if they stop shaving their legs and armpits.
It is an experiment for the students to “violate societal norms” and gather reactions from others. For ten weeks, students refrain from shaving and keep a journal of their experiences. Fahs says, “There’s really no reason why the choice to shave, or not, should be a big deal. But it is, as the students tend to find out quickly.”
Fahs’s “research” focuses on “radical feminism and feminist histories” according to ASU News. Other courses she offers include Critical Perspectives on Sexuality, Psychology of Gender, and Race, Gender and Class. She has also developed courses studying “hate speech, gendered bodies, and the philosophical and literal dimensions of trash.”
