Time for the A10’s to start combat patrols on the US Mexican border.
When the Air Force announced plans to retire the A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft, also known as the “Warthog,” the outcry from servicemembers was loud, steady … and ultimately heard in the halls of Congress.
Last month, the House voted to bar the Air Force from axing the plane, a move that pleased those who valued the A-10’s abilities in support of ground troops.
