Former secretary of state and likely 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton hit President Obama over his campaign’s alleged “sexism” in 2008, dredging up old wounds between the two rivals for the Democratic nomination six years ago. […]

But Clinton did more than publicly air that grievance, claiming she had her own bones to pick with the Obama campaign over how her own candidacy was treated.

“Beginning the process of working with then-Senator Obama after I ended my campaign,” she explained, “we had, as I describe in my book, an awkward but necessary meeting to clear the air on a couple of issues. And one of them was the sexism that, unfortunately, was present in that ’08 campaign.”
