Brandon Friedman, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs for the Department of Housing and Urban Development posted a series of tweets Wednesday evening, seemingly justifying the actions of Bowe Bergdahl if he had “psychopaths” in his platoon. Friedman says, “he’s not a fan of speculation” but then goes on to speculate that that might be why his platoon was “smearing him now”.

I'm not a fan of such speculation, but this story could not be more unbalanced–with so many premature calls of "traitor." (5/5)
