Here is an excellent web site for Memorial Day commemoration and reflection. The American Battlefield Monuments Commission has assembled a compendium of primarily WWI and WWII cemeteries in Europe. You can explore each cemetery where you will find photo galleries of the graves, interactive maps of the associated battles and you can even search the site for individuals buried at the various cemeteries. This is truly an awe inspiring site. Thanks to the American Battlefield Monuments Commission, but more particularly, thank you to each and every American buried in those cemeteries over the past 100 years.
