Democratic activist and attorney Sandra Fluke is a fan of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — but she isn’t yet ready to endorse her would-be candidacy for president in 2016.

“I am certainly ready for a female president,” Fluke told RealClearPolitics, adding that while she admires Clinton, she first wants to hear “more about her specific plans. I do have a pretty firm rule against endorsing candidates who aren’t even running.”

Fluke, who is pursuing a seat in the California state Senate, demurred again when asked about another potential female candidate who has excited the Democratic Party’s progressive wing, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.
