Caracas, Venezuela – Demonstrations in the capital city of Venezuela today drew hundreds of student protesters from Universities across Venezuela – most notably University of Central Venezuela.

Angry at what Watch Dog Groups decry as excessive force, repression of dissent and a crumbling economy students took to Caracas to protest the government of president Nicolas Maduro.

Protesting and large assemblies of people are forbidden by the government in Venezuela without permit, naturally the government hands out none.  Today’s arrests are all being made for disorderly conduct or assembly without permit.
