First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, welcomed a group of mothers with ties to the military to the White House today for a Mother’s Day tribute.

Then this happened [gif here].

Yes, that’s Michelle Obama arm-pumping in response to cheers from the crowd after Biden referenced the fact that she was a military mom. (Beau Biden, the Delaware Attorney General, served in Iraq.) Michelle Obama also addressed the crowd. “We have an extraordinary group here today,” Obama said, according to CBS News. “Moms who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, military partners who have moved across the country again and again, grandmothers… We have some really phenomenal representation of what mothering can mean.”

Seriously, WaPo, I did not need to see that.
