The Obama daughters were allegedly in the motorcade.

At least they didn’t shoot this guy, like they did Miriam Carey, the unarmed woman shot dead by the Capitol Police.

Another report which appears to be related to the same incident, although they are now saying it was a Kerry motorcade.

The Pennsylvania Avenue gates at the White House are on lockdown and reporters are being escorted off the grounds via the southwest gate.

A car was seen inside the initial barricade but not inside the White House gates.

It appears that a car has followed Secretary John Kerry’s motorcade through the initial barricade onto Pennsylvania Avenue but not through the White House gates.

The driver of car is no longer with the vehicle, it is unknown if the driver has been arrested.

Overreaction to wrong turn:

WASHINGTON, D.C. – (WTTG) The White House was on lockdown Tuesday afternoon after a car apparently made a wrong turn through a barricade and onto a restricted portion of Pennsylvania Avenue. The lockdown has since been lifted.

It happened at the barricade located at 17th St. NW and Pennsylvania Avenue. Officials say the car, a four-door Honda Civic, did not go through the gates of the White House, but instead remains on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The driver of the car was stopped by a uniformed officer. The bomb squad cleared the vehicle, and officials said it appeared the driver had made an accidental wrong turn into the restricted area.
