Who died and made Harry Reid the arbitrator of what’s racist and what’s not?

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took to Twitter on Tuesday to again push National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell to change the name of the Washington Redskins.

Reid’s tweet, which went unanswered, was submitted with the #AskCommish hashtag as part of a Twitter Q & A the commissioner held on the social media platform Tuesday from the NFL’s Twitter account.

Reid (D-Nev.) has been a vocal critic of the Redskins team name, which has been viewed by many as racist and derogatory towards the Native American community. His tweet doubled down on remarks the Nevada Democrat made last week on the Senate floor.
