In 2011, the New York Times described Abu Ammaar Yasir Qadhi as “one of the most influential conservative clerics in American Islam”. He has a degree from Yale, and according to Wikipedia, teaches in the Religious Studies Department of Rhodes College, in Memphis. Qadhi is also one of the founding members and Islamic specialists at MuslimMatters.org, a webzine for American Muslims.

Qadhi was a participant in the U.S. Counter-Radicalization Strategy conference organized by the National Counterterrorism Center in summer 2008.

Yet, here he is, in a recording of one of his lectures, seemingly advocating that you may take the life and property of Christians and other non-Muslims, because they are filth.

Would love to hear the explanation for this one.
