Amazon launched a new program recently, Amazon smile allows shoppers to pick a charity to highlight. Once your charity is highlighted, specific products you buy will have a portion of their price contributed by Amazon.com (at no cost to you) to that charity.

It is a really amazing program. There’s one catch – Amazon doesn’t discriminate and that has liberals upset.

Amazon is a progressive company, and it’s a friend of the LGBT community. Jeff Bezos donated several million dollars to Washington State’s marriage equality campaign. And that was exactly why I started a Change.org petition asking Amazon to follow its own polices, and to delist the BSA until they stop discriminating against Scout leaders like Geoff.

They even went so far as to create a Change.org petition no one cares about or reads.

While people may disagree with what the Boy Scouts of America do with their PRIVATE organization.   It is just that, private – private groups can discriminate against whomever they want in their membership lists.

Should the Freemasons be forced to let in Atheists?  The Emerald Society be forced to allow Hispanics?
