If you’re a lib the worst thing you can be accused of is not supporting “diversity.”

Via NY Post:

There are plenty of things that critics can find wrong with the de Blasio administration, but a group of ministers somehow found reason to pick on one issue where City Hall has excelled: diversity.

The ministers, led by the Rev. Dennis Dillon of the Brooklyn Christian Center, took to City Hall’s steps Thursday to demand that the mayor appoint more African-Americans to high-ranking positions.

They claimed that by not doing so, Mayor de Blasio — who has made his biracial family a centerpiece of both his campaign and his administration — was displaying “utter disdain” toward the black community.

The ministers repeatedly pointed out how “blacks delivered the votes” but have a “limited role in leadership,” adding they haven’t been able to get a meeting with the mayor despite making 39 phone calls and writing three letters since January.

Dillon even expressed regret at supporting de Blasio, who was elected with 95 percent of the black vote. “I think there is probably some regret with all of us. We want to believe his heart is in the right place — his actions are obviously all wrong,” the pastor said. “There are certainly regrets that the black community feels.”
