Former President Bill Clinton let loose Wednesday night on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”about his thoughts on extraterrestrial life.

Kimmel got the conversation going by telling Clinton that if he became president, the first thing he would ask for is a look at all classified UFO files.

Clinton reciprocated by letting Kimmel know that not too long after he was elected, his aides did some research on Area 51 in Nevada “to make sure there was no alien down there.”

“If we were visited someday I wouldn’t be surprised,” Clinton said. “I just hope it’s not like ‘Independence Day.’”
