Via MassLive:

The Boston Red Sox made their official trip to the White House Tuesday, beards, blazers and all and were welcomed by President Barack Obama. We’ve got full video of the president speaking here, as well as some highlights below.

Stay tuned for more from Jason Mastrodonato and Ron Chimelis, who will be chiming in on the Red Sox’s trip to Washington D.C.

For now, though, here are some video highlights of President Obama greeting the Red Sox, including a flub, Jonny Gomes’ blazer, acknowledging the Marathon Bombings and the David Ortiz selfie:

Note: You may have heard, but the president botch first baseman Mike Napoli’s name pretty badly, resulting in the Boston media jumping all over the flub. You can catch President Obama’s “na-POLE-ee” line in the above video.
