And she only links to the Obamacare website six times in an eight paragraph piece. Why so subtle, Mooch?

Via Michelle Obama, The Bump:

. . . Under this new law, if you don’t have health insurance, there’s now a simple way to get coverage that fits your needs and your budget. All you have to do is go to the Health Insurance Marketplace at HealthCare.gov by March 31st, and you’ll find a range of insurance choices, lined up side-by-side and explained in easy-to-understand language. You can compare what each plan covers and how much it costs, and you can choose the plan that works best for you and your family.

Every plan on HealthCare.gov covers maternity care, pediatrician’s visits, preventive care (things like flu shots, mammograms and vaccines for kids), birth control and more. And these plans are affordable – the majority of people without insurance today will be able to get covered for $100 a month or less, and many young adults will be able to get covered for as little as $50 a month. Also, if you’re pregnant now, and you get signed up by March 31st, when your baby is born, you’ll both be covered.

No matter what plan you choose, you’ll have the security of knowing that if you or your child gets sick, or has an accident, you won’t have to go into debt to pay your medical bills. And if you or your spouse loses a job, you won’t have to worry about losing your health insurance too.

So my message to the moms and dads of The Bump community is very simple: go to HealthCare.gov and sign up. And make sure everyone you know gets signed up too – reach out to your family, friends, colleagues and neighbors, and send them to HealthCare.gov. Don’t wait another minute, because that March 31st deadline is quickly approaching.

I’ll never forget the joy Barack and I felt over the birth of our two daughters. I’ll also never forget the excellent care I got during my pregnancy and delivery, as well as all the prescriptions, vaccines, checkups, x-rays and more that my family has been able to afford since then because we had health insurance. Today, that kind of care – and that kind of peace of mind – is available to all Americans atHealthCare.gov, so get signed up today and give yourself and your family the healthy future you deserve.
