Michelle Obama is following up her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a guest spot on another NBC comedy series. The first lady is set to appear on the hour-long season finale of Parks and Recreation, which will air on April 24th.
Obama will be following in the footsteps of two other prominent Washington figures who made cameos on the show over the last couple of years. First, Vice President Joe Biden came face to face with his biggest admirer, Amy Poehler’s Leslie Knope in a 2012 episode. Then, last year, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich ran into Jim O’Heir’s Jerry Larry Gergich at an Indiana steak house.
