Deen can apologize until she’s blue in the face and the left will still despise her because she’s white. Never mind the fact that Paula Deen is a Democrat who actively campaigned for Barack Obama and that she made the comments 27 years ago.

Paula Deen has been quietly mounting a comeback after the controversy over her past usage of the n-word sank her career last year, and the celebrity chef made a public appearance yesterday at the Beach Wine and Food Festival, and wanted to make it clear she sincerely regrets what she’s said in the past, and while she did not directly address the controversy, she did issue another heartfelt apology to make it clear how sorrowful she is.
Deen said, “I have heard on more than one occasion… that I’ve never apologized. So if anybody did not hear me apologize, I would like to apologize to those who did not hear me.”
