Just a legal note: “Interviewing under caution” is a formal interview where police advise you of your rights during the course of an investigation. You have the right to an attorney. It is not just a random witness interview, it indicates that they may be looking at you as a potential suspect in an action, although you are not arrested and are free to leave.
