Feel good story of the day.
Kabul, Feb 17 (IANS) — Five militants were killed and four others wounded in a blast in Afghanistan, the country’s defence ministry said Monday.
“Nine anti-government members were busy in building an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Rashidan district of eastern Ghazni Province. The IED went off prematurely, leaving five militants killed and four others wounded,” the ministry said in a statement.
The Taliban insurgent group, which largely relies on home-made IED in fight against security forces, has yet to make comments.
