In the doorway of a Clinton home stood 22-year old James Knudsen. He’s had a long day because just hours prior he was was at Middletown Superior Court.

He’s accused of allegedly assaulting two juveniles, who authorities say he thought damaged his snowman.

“It was mine,” Knudsen said. “Well, it was mine for me and my neighbor’s children.”

In court, his attorney spoke on his behalf.

Knudsen tells us that a small pile what remains of the snowman in question. However, why he decided to attack two juveniles over it being knocked over still isn’t clear.

“Would you just tell me what just happened with the snowman?,” News 8′s Josh Scheinblum asked Knudsen.

“No,” he responded.

Clinton Police tell News 8 the ages of the two juveniles involved were 16 and 17 respectively, and tell us he punched them in their faces. Each sustained minor juries.
