For some unknown reason taking selfies is part of her plan to get more youths to have the taxpayers fund their college education.
Student: Hey, I’m about to graduate high school. And I’m here to talk to you about filling out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA for short. Completing your FAFSA is the first step towards potentially getting thousands of dollars in financial aid to help you pursue your education past high school.
Michelle: Rule number one: Don’t leave money on the table.
Student: FAFSA is easier than ever to fill out, taking less than 30 minutes to complete. Just go to studentaid.gov.
Michelle: Thirty minutes for something that could mean thousands of dollars for you and your family? Now that’s amazing.
Student: But get this, one million students who qualify, never complete their form and don’t get the money they need to go to school.
Michelle: Mmmm, so, get the word out. Send everybody you know to studentaid.gov. Text it, tweet it, take a selfie and Instagram it.
Student: You must have kids.
Michelle: I know what’s up.
Student: Rule number two: Don’t doubt the first lady. So fill out the FAFSA and don’t forget to get schooled.
Michelle: By the way, did you fill out your form?
Student: You know it.
Michelle: Nice! [fist bump] Selfie time!
Student: OK!
